CZ-W plans within the scope of the extension of the logistics centre in Mlada Boleslav the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) for the control of incoming goods, put away, picking, packing and shipping.

Tasks in project

  • The new logistics concept contains the conveyor technical connection of different warehouse areas by an forwarding system.
  • As warehouse areas a shelve area for storage of B-articles in bins, a pallet area for storage of A-articles on pallet and a pallet area for storage dangerous goods articles are planned.
  • In addition the storage of bulky goods
  • will be done in a separate X-warehouse area.
  • The storage of bins into the shelve area and pallet area is controlled by a new Warehouse Control System (WCS).
  • Put away into the remaining warehouse areas is done by an new Radio data transmission System (RdT).

    • Goals

    The new WMS can be delivered by an external supplier or due to the new requirements an extension to EWM (SAP).
